Communal areas

Personal belongings (e.g. pushchairs, children's toys, bicycles and furniture etc.) are not permitted to be stored in the communal areas of the buildings including the upper level walkways as they may cause an obstruction on the escape routes.

The communal areas of Bombay Wharf are to be kept completely clear and free from obstruction at all times to assist a smooth and safe evacuation should it become necessary to do so; the communal areas are not designated storage areas and anything left stored within the communal areas will be deemed a hazard and may be removed and disposed of without notice.

A guidance note published by the London Fire Brigade concerning fires in communal areas can be found HERE; this provides some further guidance and information highlighting the importance of keeping the communal areas completely clear and free from obstruction at all times.
