Martin, our daytime porter, carries out a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the buildings, which includes,

  • Liaising with service providers and contractors.

  • Ensuring residents' requests and issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

  • Acquiring a good knowledge of all on site services to assist individual residents in line with their needs.

  • Carrying out daily site inspections raising, documenting and assisting with completion of all actions.

  • Carrying out post and courier deliveries and collections.

  • Carrying out regular fire alarm, fire door, emergency lighting and emergency exit testing. 

  • Raising accident and incident reports and track through to closure.

  • Support for all internal and external audits.

  • Working flexibly to support out of hours requests and extended hours.

  • Reviewing procedures, processes and documentatio and making recommendations, suggestions and initiatives to support continuous improvement.

  • Managing on site refuse containers to prevent overflow situations.

  • Carrying out various handyman tasks i.e. painting, minor repairs, light bulb replacement etc.

  • Carrying out gardening duties i.e. watering courtyard and Atrium plants, pruning bushes.

  • Regularly cleaning the Concierge office and toilet facilities.

  • Overseeing the safe keeping and security of site and resident keys.
